Fishermen Village Visit & Activities

You will rise up early morning and after a cup of tea from the hotel, you will be met by your guide and will drive you to the nearby village. You will get onto a TUK TUK for a 20 minutes ride to bring you to the fishermen’s beach where you witness the live action of boatmen bringing in their fresh catch of fishes for auction. Later continue your drive to reach the beautiful farm house set by the backwater. 

Breakfast will be served which will energise you for your further village tour. Interact with the family and exchange experiences with brief introduction to some of the heritage relics available in the house. Later you get on to your respective Rickshaws and ride for 2 Km, where you will be dropped at a point for a short Village walk. 10 Minutes of walk will bring you to the Local Panchayath ferry. Walk through the paddy fields / prawn farms, you will be explained on the alternate Cultivation Method which is Unique to this place – This is a paradise for Bird watchers.. Continue on your Rickshaws for another 4 kms to reach the fish market. Your Expedition Manager will explain the life and activities around the market. This gives you an insight of how well the economy is balanced among the communities. You will come back to the farm house, freshen up, have a tender coconut and will be transferred back your hotel by noon.
