Arrive Cochin. You will be transferred to your hotel in the heritage town of Fort Cochin (01 hour)
The spice trade first bought Chinese and Arabian traders to Kerala’ shores and later the Portuguese , Dutch and British thus making Fort Cochin a cultural melting point. Wander through its old streets, the synagogue, the ancient churches, colonial houses and the picturesque Chinese fishing nets.
You will take the short drive to Mattancherry to visit Dutch Palace (Friday closed), Built by the Portuguese in 1557 . The palace with a Bhagavathi Temple in the central courtyard is built like the typical Kerala style mansion - the Nalukettu. The palace building which stands by the panoramic Kochi backwaters has an exquisite collection of murals and the themes of these murals have been borrowed from the great Indian epics - the Ramayana and the Mahabharatha. Enter into Jew town, the centre of spice trade in Cochin. Take a walk along the Jew Town and you can breathe the aroma of pepper, ginger, turmeric and cloves. At the corner of the Jew town, you will visit the Jewish Synagogue, built in 1568 and the oldest synagogue in the commonwealth. It houses many rare antiques.

From Cochin to Agatti/Bangaram Island
After early breakfast , transfer to Cochin airport (01 hr) to connect flight to Agatti at 1000 hrs. Arrive Agatti airport at 1045 hrs. Met on arrival and immediate transfer by car to the nearby jetty to connect ferry to Bangaram Island. After Thirty minutes, arrive at Bangaram Island.
Bangaram Island, with a length of 8 Km and a width of 4 Km is an uninhabited island amongst the islands of Lakshadweep. Bangaram presents a breathtaking spectacle of sparkling coral reefs, turquoise blue lagoons, silvery beaches and lush green coconut palms.
It has been ranked among the best getaways of the world. A matchless sense of well-being takes over and one begins to discover the graceful fishers, porcupines, parrots, Pufferfishes, Hermit Crabs and Seabirds on the 120 vast acres of lush coconut groves in Bangaram. There are numerous adventures like scuba diving, beach games, swimming, snorkelling and deep-sea fishing.
